Knapp Versicherungen GmbH, an Austrian managing general agent, provides insurance solutions for B2B and B2C customers and has created an award-winning online platform called wypeitaway for affinity insurance products.

The challenge

The customer was confronted with an inhomogeneous system landscape to manage the contracts and damages for affinity insurances. This led to several inefficiencies and additional effort. Contract requests were received via email or phone and had to be transferred manually into a backend system. Insurance documents were issued from the backend system and sent to the customer manually via email.

 

To enable further growth and given the limited personal ressources our customer needed to enhance automation and required an end-to-end solution for handling the whole insurance process digitally. With Antson it was possible to build the complete solution with our no-code approach in a few weeks.

Scope of Project in Antson

  • Insurance request form for several affinity products with automated calculation of premium, commission, taxes and insurer share.
  • Integration of insurance request form on the website including styling to corporate design.
  • Creation of all insurance documents such as personalised insurance certificate, invoice, consultancy protocol and membership declaration.
  • Personal memberarea for customers to manage contracts.
  • Online damage report form including backoffice processes.
  • Interface to payment provider for payment handling and collections.
  • Automatic contract renewal, payment reminders and contract cancellation.
  • Export OMDS for partners and other 3rd party systems.
  • Partner management for onboarding, managing and invoicing.

The complete project was build on the Antson platform without any programming, only by using configuration and visual UI.
